Blog Tour: I Want It That Way by Ann Aguirre - Review + Giveaway!

Nadia Conrad has big dreams, and she's determined to make them come true—for her parents' sake as well as her own. But between maintaining her college scholarship and working at the local day care to support herself, she barely has time to think, let alone date. Then she moves into a new apartment and meets the taciturn yet irresistible guy in 1B….

Daniel Tyler has grown up too fast. Becoming a single dad at twenty turned his life upside down—and brought him heartache he can't risk again. Now, as he raises his four-year-old son while balancing a full-time construction management job and night classes, a social life is out of the question. The last thing he wants is for four noisy students to move into the apartment upstairs. But one night, Nadia's and Ty's paths cross, and soon they can't stay away from each other.

The timing is all wrong—but love happens when it happens. And you can't know what you truly need until you stand to lose it.

I am such a sucker for sexy guys who are adorable with their children so naturally I loved this story!

Nadia was a great heroine. She was spunky and driven and sweet. I thought the decisions she made were very mature and I thought they were perfect for her life, if that makes sense. She was really great with kids and I loved how she loved Sam, Ty’s son.

Ty was a total sweetheart. His dedication was awe-inspiring. Having a child as young as he was and working full time, all while doing night classes...just hearing about it made me exhausted. He was a definite multi-tasker. I understood his reluctance to enter into a relationship because

The cast of supporting characters were exciting. Nadia’s roommates especially. I can’t wait for their stories. The plot was so great and the romance was five-star alarm hot! They had great chemistry, but more importantly, they clicked really well.

I loved this start of a promising new adult series, and I am most definitely looking forward to the next two books in the series.

Favorite Swoon-worthy Quote: In an instant, Ty closed the distance between us and cupped my face in his hands. His palms, oh, we’d been here before, but never like this. I licked my lips as his gaze skated over my face, kindled like a jar of honey in the sunlight. He made the hungriest sound I’d ever heard as he leaned in.

Review: Keep Her by Faith Andrews

The Grayson siblings are at it again—guilty of keeping secrets from each other when it comes to who they fall in love with. This time little brother’s best friend is the object of Riley’s affection and their intimate connection is impossible to resist.

Riley Grayson—snarky, successful, lonely. She’s looking for Mr. Right, especially now that her younger, reformed man-whore of a brother is living out his happily ever after with her best friend. If Marcus can find true love, why the hell can’t she?

Although these two can’t stay away from each other, it seems the ghosts of their pasts are holding them back from what they really want. Can Riley and Beck overcome the threat of shocking coincidences and unexpected events that will test their trust in one another?

Find out if Beck’s love is strong enough to Keep Her.

I stumbled across the first book in this series, Keep Me, and fell totally in love with the characters. Keep Her was equally as mesmerizing and wonderful.

Riley is a total firecracker. She isn’t used to having someone care or watch out for her. She is also really stubborn…just like Beck. I liked her tenacity in the first book through her best friend and her brother’s eyes, and I was glad to see that same tenacity is back with a vengeance in this one. I loved seeing her vulnerable side too.

Beck is her brother’s super sexy best friend. He is wonderful. Attentive. A fire fighter. Super yummy. I didn’t always agree with some of his decisions but I did understand them. He’s also a great friend to Marcus when he’s going through some tough times. Just overall around an amazing guy.

The plot was cool. I loved that it was kind of parallel with the plot of Keep Me. I got to see some things that were in the background of the first book. The romance started off with a bang, then fizzled a smidge, and then came back full force! I totally loved it!

I’d loveeee to see more books in this series, but for now, I’ll check out her other series called Dreams!

Favorite Swoon-worthy Quote: Our tongues became wild, exploring unchartered, yet familiar, territory. I must’ve always wanted to kiss Riley and never knew how badly. Sucking her tongue and biting her lips while confined in this tight space was like feeding a hunger I never knew existed.
