Blog Tour: Finding It by Cora Carmack - Review!

Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find where you truly belong...

Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life . . . or that's what she keeps telling herself.

It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey's loneliness, but maybe Jackson Hunt can. After a few chance meetings, he convinces her to take a journey of adventure instead of alcohol. With each new city and experience, Kelsey's mind becomes a little clearer and her heart a little less hers. Jackson helps her unravel her own dreams and desires. But the more she learns about herself, the more Kelsey realizes how little she knows about Jackson.

Cora has hit a perfect trifecta! Losing It, Faking It and Finding It are all different stories but each wonderful in their own right.

Kelsey is a lost soul, trying to find herself across the ocean in Europe. On the outside, she’s has had a privileged life, but no one knows what she has really been through, and the people that do are not supportive whatsoever. On the outside, she seems like a spoiled party girl, but from the beginning I could tell that that wasn’t who she was inside. I felt deeply for her throughout the whole book and I was crazy ecstatic when she found what she was looking for, with Hunt and within herself. She totally deserves it.

Hunt, Jackson Hunt, is lost in his own way too. He is a former Marine, and damn is he sexayyyy. He is a sweetheart to Kelsey but he is still tortured from the time that he spent in the Marines. He has his secrets that are upsetting in the long run, but I understand his reasons for keeping them to himself. I reallyyyy loved Hunt, and he may even by my favorite Carmack boy. That’s a tough one though.

I was completely taken away by this book from the beginning. I loved the always changing setting, the beautiful background of Europe on Kelsey and Hunt’s journey. Cora’s writing is addicting. I feel everything that Kelsey feels. It’s pretty intense. I was also so happy to see Bliss again! The romance in Finding It is absolutely blazing. They have explosive chemistry and when they finally give into it… bam! Literally.

I can’t wait for Hunt’s novella to come out, Seeking Her. I really wanna get inside his head, but I am going to miss this series so much!

Favorite Swoon-worthy Quote: This was burning. The heat, the fire between us blazed, and I couldn’t be close enough to him. I let one hand trail down to his lower back, and slipped it beneath his shirt to press into his heated skin. At the contact, his kiss turned frenzied, and I felt the cool porcelain of the sink bump against my lower back. I dug my fingernails into his skin, and a rumbling groan poured from his mouth. The arms around my waist slid to my hips, and he lifted me up and onto the sink.
