Who doesn’t love a bad, bad boy? Not me for sure!
I really like Camryn. She was really strong after she found
out her ass-hat of a boyfriend cheated on her. I absolutely cannot stand girls
who wallow in self-pity after a bad relationship. I like strong girls who can
stand on their own. I also really liked that she didn’t immediately jump into
relationship with Dallas. She don’t need no man to complete her, but Dallas was
a perfect fit.
Dallas was the epitome of sexy. He is tattooed, drives a
motorcycle, and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks of him. He has not had a
good family life growing up, and the only person he can count on is his mom. He
is considered a man whore around campus and he does not want any relationships
with any of those girls. Until him meets Camryn that is. I loved how much she
changed him. She helped him open up and also to learn forgiveness. I honestly
think that without Camryn, he would have been an extremely lonely guy.
Ava, Camryn’s best friend, was great. I loved how supportive
she was Camryn after her boyfriend cheated on her. She just kept saying how
small of a weiner he had. I giggled a lot. I also liked Denton, which I was
extremely surprised about when I figured out who he was. I don’t wanna say who
he is but he is an important part of the book in regards to Dallas’s story. And
his story is next, so I can’t wait for that!
The plot hurried along fast, as it is not a super long book,
and I was engaged the whole time. The romance was really cute and sexy, but I
kinda wish that their relationship would have developed just a smidgen more
before they rushed into things. I just had a kind of hard time connecting. All
in all, I really enjoyed the steam factor in this book. Dallas made sure of
that!
This was a pretty great NA book, and I look forward to more
of Angeline Kace.
Favorite Swoon-worthy Quote: Dallas runs his hand down my leg and pulls it up over his hip. I allow
him to mold me to him. The heat coursing though my body and building between my
legs has me eager for whatever he’s willing to give me. He tugs on my standing
leg, and I give it to him, wrapping my legs around his hips. He props me up
against the wall next to the door and ravages my mouth with kisses so
passionate, I’m moaning against his tongue. I’m utterly lost in him.
